Description

The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary is a fast wide-angle prime for Sony E-mount APS-C cameras. Its bright f/1.4 aperture and 24mm full-frame equivalent view suit low light, interiors and everyday shooting.

Top Features

Focal Length
Its 16mm focal length gives a 24mm full-frame equivalent wide-angle view on APS-C, ideal for interiors, landscapes, vlogging and street.

Bright Aperture
A bright f/1.4 maximum aperture (to f/16) excels in low light and creates a shallow depth of field with soft background blur.

Autofocus
A quiet stepping-motor autofocus supports Face and Eye Detect AF, keeping subjects sharp for both stills and vlogging video.

Optical Construction
Sixteen elements in thirteen groups, including FLD, SLD and aspherical elements, suppress aberrations for sharp, high-contrast results wide open.

Close Focusing
A 25cm minimum focus distance lets you move in close for tighter framing of food, products and small subjects.

Aperture Blades
A 9-blade rounded diaphragm keeps the aperture circular when stopped down, rendering smooth, natural background blur.

Durable Build
A durable brass bayonet mount and solid construction keep this fast wide-angle prime reliable in a compact 405g body.

Weather Sealing
A dust- and splash-resistant mount seal helps it cope with light rain and dusty conditions during outdoor shooting.
