    Description

The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art is a full-frame standard zoom for Sony E-mount cameras. This second-generation Art lens combines a constant f/2.8 aperture with fast HLA autofocus and refined handling controls.

    Top Features

    Focal Range
Its 24-70mm range spans wide-angle to short telephoto, making it a versatile everyday professional standard zoom for full-frame Sony cameras.

    Constant Aperture
A constant f/2.8 aperture across the whole zoom range gives steady exposure and shallow depth of field, closing down to f/22.

    HLA Autofocus
A High-response Linear Actuator (HLA) drives autofocus over three times faster than the original, delivering fast, quiet and precise focusing.

    Optical Construction
Nineteen elements in fifteen groups, including six FLD, two SLD and five aspherical elements, control aberrations for high resolution edge to edge.

    Close Focusing
Focuses as close as 0.17m at wide (0.34m at telephoto) for up to 1:2.7 (0.37x) magnification and strong close-ups.

    Handling Controls
An aperture ring with click on/off, two AFL buttons and a focus-mode switch give direct, tactile control for stills and video.

    Aperture Blades
An 11-blade rounded diaphragm keeps the aperture circular when stopped down, rendering smooth, natural background blur.

    Build and Sealing
Dust- and splash-resistant construction with a water- and oil-repellent front coating, an 82mm filter thread and a 745g body.
